Laugh, Repeat: My Go-To Spots for Sipping, Dancing & Soaking in the City

Spots for Sipping

There’s something magical about slipping into a place that knows how to do mood lighting, cocktails, and conversation just right. Whether you’re dancing the night away or sipping something fabulous with your favorite people, these are my personal favorites for unwinding and embracing the rhythm of Nashville and Franklin.

From rooftop views to velvet booths and secret doors—consider this your glam guide to going out in style.

Harriet’s Rooftop – The One Hotel, The Gulch

Stylish and effortlessly cool, Harriet’s offers panoramic views of the city skyline with an upscale yet laid-back vibe. Think curated cocktails, warm lighting, and a chic crowd that knows how to do evenings right. It’s the kind of place where sunsets feel cinematic and every detail—from the music to the menu—is thoughtfully designed for a memorable night out. This is hands-down my favorite rooftop bar in Downtown Nashville and my go-to when I want to feel inspired by the city.

The Twelve Thirty Club – Downtown Nashville

If you love live music with a side of sultry elegance, this is your place. You’ll find everything from low-key jazz to full-blown dance parties, all wrapped in velvet and vintage glamour. Head upstairs to the Supper Club for an unforgettable night out.

The Red Phone Booth – Downtown Nashville

Yes, it’s an actual phone booth—if you have the code. This prohibition-style speakeasy serves up some of the best cocktails in the city, and the moody, candlelit vibe is perfect for conversation or date night.

The Henry – The Gulch

Lush interiors, stylish crowds, and a menu that impresses just as much as the ambiance. Grab a booth for cocktails and people-watching or hit the rooftop for views and vibes.

White Limozeen – West End

This one is a full-on Barbie dreamscape. Think Dolly Parton-inspired rooftop complete with pink décor, whimsical drinks, and an always-playful crowd. It’s the ultimate spot for birthday toasts and girls’ nights.

The Patterson House – Midtown Nashville

Quiet, intimate, and effortlessly cool. The Patterson House is known for its craft cocktails and speakeasy entrance. A must if you love dim lights and perfectly shaken drinks.

Sinatra Bar and Lounge – Downtown Nashville

Channel your inner Rat Pack. With smooth jazz playing and a swanky mid-century aesthetic, this bar pays homage to Sinatra himself. Dress the part—it’s the kind of place that makes you want to slow dance.

Eddie V’s – Midtown Nashville

Refined but never stuffy, Eddie V’s blends an upscale steakhouse with a buzzing bar scene. The lounge often features live music and always has the kind of service that makes you feel like a VIP.

Pushing Daisies Underground Margaritas – Downtown Nashville

A little hidden, a lot of fun. Pushing Daisies is bold, edgy, and just underground enough
to feel exclusive. Their margarita menu is next level, and the vibe is electric.

Culaccino Rooftop – Downtown Franklin

Elegant yet approachable, this rooftop is ideal for wine lovers and foodies alike. Grab a table for dinner or head to the rooftop lounge for a relaxed night with friends. The views of downtown Franklin never get old.

Stable Reserve – Franklin

Tucked inside a beautifully restored building, Stable Reserve offers craft cocktails, small plates, and serious ambiance. Perfect for after-dinner drinks or a cozy first date.

O Be Joyful – Main Street, Franklin

Lively, local, and always fun. OB Joyful has a great whiskey selection and just the right amount of rowdiness. It’s where locals gather, especially after dinner or post-concert.

Harpeth Hotel Lounge – Downtown Franklin

This one’s all about classic sophistication. With rich leather accents and live music on select nights, it’s a favorite for winding down or hosting out-of-town guests.

Cork & Cow – Franklin

More than just a steakhouse, Cork & Cow has one of the best cocktail bars in the area. Ideal for an intimate dinner or a pre-show sip before heading to the Franklin Theatre.

18th Amendment – Franklin

Step into the Roaring Twenties. With its speakeasy charm and vintage décor, 18th Amendment delivers a moody, romantic setting with incredibly crafted cocktails to match.

Kimbro’s Pickin’ Parlor – Franklin

Housed in an old Franklin cottage, Kimbro’s is the definition of local charm and musical soul. Step inside for live performances in the Pickin’ Room or catch the magic when the crowd overflows onto the porch, guitars come out, and everyone sings along under the Tennessee stars. It’s unfiltered, unforgettable, and home to some of my most joy-filled nights. Nothing fancy—just heart, history, and a whole lot of harmony.
